The hospital maintains established protocols for both routine and emergency obstetrical care with modern equipment to support optimal patient outcomes. About the Facility Location This area in North Carolina offers diverse outdoor recreation opportunities including kayaking on Fontana Lake, ziplining, hiking, and rafting activities across wide-open natural spaces. Thursday coverage involves 24-hour restricted on-site call responsibilities, managing 2-3 deliveries per call shift and responding to emergency obstetric and gynecologic situations. The position requires full scope practice capabilities including labor and delivery management, cesarean sections when indicated, and comprehensive gynecologic procedures. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required for this role.
