Account Manager JOB SUMMARY:

Position is responsible for the coordination and completion of client projects undertaken by ETSI and for developing and maintaining positive relationships between ETSI and its clients.

Account Manager CORE COMPETENCIES:

-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products including MS Project, Word, Outlook, Excel

Account Manager PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Management:
-Manages the details of client projects
-Establishes and maintains ongoing correspondence with clients, confirming any changes, agreements, and understandings to ensure good relationships with clients
-Creates and maintains communication to avoid misunderstandings that could lead to a clients dissatisfaction
-Informs client of cost overruns
-Prepares and sends invoices and correspondence to clients at appropriate times throughout the duration of projects
-Keeps precise records of all development and production accounting
-Works closely with vendors to schedule and develop elements of projects on time and on budget

Scheduling:
-Develops schedules for each element of a project
-Revises schedules as needed; keeps Director of Operations, team and clients informed/current
-Organizes process, schedules, and products with outside vendors

Client Communication:
-Maintains close contact with the Director of Operations and with Editors to ensure adherence to schedules, immediately notifying clients of necessary revisions or delays
-Coordinates regular status calls with clients as well as any needed additional conference calls with clients and ETSI staff
-Develops and updates project status sheets for larger projects or multiple projects with the same client
-Travels to client sites for meetings
-Hosts clients when they visit ETSI

Sales:
-Promotes ETSI products, along with production and fulfillment services
Upsells to current clients
-Consults with clients and provides information and price quotes related to color selections, cover designs, quantities, bindery, etc.
-Works with Production staff to create production cost estimates to submit for clients review and approval
-Occasionally makes or participates in presentations to prospective clients in coordination with ETSI management/sales personnel
-Promotes ETSI products and services at annual tradeshow, as assigned WORKING CONDITIONS
Primary work environment is a private office in the ETSI office building
Limited opportunity to work off-site via laptop and cell phone
Occasional travel
Some evening/weekend work


BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:

BA/BS degree in business or other related discipline
Minimum of 2 years of successful related experience in project management
Experience with Project Management systems a plus
