The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk.The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.Corporate Risk, in addition to overseeing Wells Fargo business risk, engages in business activities that are subject to risks that must be managed, just as any other business front line. The Corporate Risk Management Control Executive (CRM CE) team works to ensure appropriate management of that front line risk. - -The CRM CE Team is seeking a highly motivated Operational Risk Consultant 4 (ORC4) to support front line risk management across the Corporate Risk for Reputation, Strategic, Human Capital and Implementation risk. - This role must partner closely with other teams, such as the Human Capital Enterprise Control Activities (ECA) team, the Corporate Risk Group Policy Management Office (CR GPMO) Team, the Group Portfolio Delivery Team (GPD).This leader will work across the CRM CE Team to ensure holistic management of risks across Corporate Risk front line activity, acting as subject matter expert for Reputation, Strategic, Human Capital or Implementation risk (ORC roles will focus on one area of risk). -Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining and communicating expertise as to existing policies and risk program requirements for Reputation, Strategic, Human Capital, or Implementation risk.
• Partnering with business-aligned Corporate Risk CE Teams to assess level of new/changed policy impact/ applicability and develop implementation plans
• Communicating requirements in new/revised policies, procedures and guidance to ensure stakeholder awareness and guide effective program adherence across Corporate Risk, including actions and documented procedures and evidence of complianceLocation: Preferred location is Charlotte, NC but may open to other major Wells Fargo locations and Telecommute
  
  Required Qualifications
  
  • 6+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 6+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both

      • Exposure to or knowledge of at least two of the risk types (Reputation, Strategic, Human Capital, Implementation Risk)
      • Experience reviewing policies/regulations, analyzing business impact, and providing feedback
      • Ability to "connect the dots" from dry requirements to practical business processes/procedures to mitigate risk
      • Ability to ask hard questions; understand decisions, direction, etc.
