Job Summary The Reinsurance Claims Analyst will assist with all aspects of reinsurance claims reporting and administration.Duties and Responsibilities

• Continuously exhibit and uphold Core Values of Integrity, Accountability, Communication and Teamwork, Innovation and Customer Service
• Review claims for required reinsurance reporting and notifications
• Compile and prepare initial, interim and final claims reports for reinsurers
• Maintain and manage all required interim reports
• Draft correspondence and communicate with reinsurance partners
• Respond to reinsurance inquiries as a result of claims reports
• Partner with internal claims team members on questions related to claims subject to reinsurance agreements
• Other projects as assigned by managementKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of claims, reinsurance and coverage issues on direct and reinsurance claims for multiple lines of business
  • Knowledge of reinsurance contracts and reporting requirements placement processes, underwriting, and markets
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
  • Research, analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement in making critical and complex decisions
  • Ability to build effective relationships with business partners

    • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (i.e. finance, business, risk management) required
    • Minimum of three years of P&C insurance experience required, with emphasis in underwriting or claims preferred
    • Reinsurance experience preferred
