Seeking a BC Ophthalmologist to help provide with call coverage in major city in North Carolina!
Coverage Need: September 17, 8AM September 24, 8AM Provider will need to come in the day before scheduled for orientation. Potential for ongoing coverage.
Details:

• Will need to evaluate all hospital and ED consults, including evaluation and surgical treatment of trauma
• Inpatient and outpatient only
• 24-call
• Provider must be within 20 minutes within ECU Health Medical Center while on call
• EPIC trained preferred
• Anticipated volumes/day: 5-8
• Average patients/provider: 5-6
• Provider will not respond to codes
• No ICU/Critical Care duties
• List of required procedures: repair ruptured globe, repair eyelid lacerations, remove corneal foreign body Hospital Info: Academic medical center in North Carolina, 974-bed tertiary referral center providing acute, intermediate, rehabilitation and outpatient health services to a 29-county region that is home to more than 1.4 million people.
