The Installation Technician performs installation tasks for audio visual projects including but not limited to: pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting projects, etc. Must be Fully Vaccinated or willing to be Vaccinated Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform installation tasks for audio visual projects including but not limited to: pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting projects and metal fabricationRead and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprintsUse hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors along with various other AV systems related tasksAssist with basic mechanical fabrication and basic rack wiringProjector and screen support structure installationsTest point to point functionality of systemsField installation of control programs (AMX/Crestron) - upload and download capabilityMake minor programming changes under the direction of an engineer or programmerProvide site supervisor of install team with direction from the Project ManagerPerform client training as neededCustomer liaison in absence of Project ManagerResponsible for job documentation as neededDemonstrate job site leadershipTravel to various job sites required Skills and Abilities: Effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleaguesAbility to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient mannerAbility to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlinesBasic computer knowledgeKnowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and controlAbility to manage small to medium projectsMinor programming capability (AMX/Creston) - changes and troubleshooting Education and/or Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of audiovisual installation experience preferredFormal education in Electronics or related field preferredMinimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
