Position Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to provide evidence-based
individual, group, and family-child treatment services to families
engaged in outpatient treatment programming residing in the Wake
County area and surrounding counties. Likewise, this position will
consist of working within an interdisciplinary and
transdisciplinary treatment team. Clinical services will include
screenings, referrals, and completing comprehensive clinical
assessments for women and their children to determine intervention
need. Additionally, individual and group therapy will include
facilitation of evidence-based treatment curriculums and skills
targeted to address substance use, trauma, parenting and
maternal-infant interventions, and life skills.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a Human Services discipline with coursework
related to the area of assignment. Some positions may require
certification to practice as a certified or licensed Clinical
Social Worker as required by the North Carolina Social Work
Certification Board.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
This position requires a provisional or full clinical license:
LCSW, LMHC, LPA, LMFT, LCAS
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Prefer candidate who is interested in working with pregnant and
parenting women affected by substance use, trauma, violence, and
incarceration. Additionally, a preferred candidate will have some
interest in working with families and maternal-infant
interventions.
Required Licenses/Certifications
This position requires a provisional or full clinical license:
LCSW, LMHC, LPA, LMFT, LCAS.
