Team Member Position Overview

In this role, you will work under the direction of a team lead to carry out various lawn care, landscaping, and enhancement tasks. Some prior experience with lawn care, landscaping, and enhancement is preferred but on the job training with be provided.

Primary Functions (Enhancement):

Aeration and overseeding
Installing annuals
Pruning
Mulching
Initial site clean ups

Primary Functions (Lawn Care):

Mow, blow, edge and trim
Weeding beds
Fall leaf blowing
Mulching
Pruning perennials and grasses

Primary Functions (Landscaping):

Hardscape installation
Patios, pathways, steps, and retaining walls
Fencing
Drip irrigation
Planting
Drainage
Lighting installation
Water features

Qualifications:

Ability to follow basic directions and instructions administered by the team leader
Reliable transportation to and from work
Dependable, reliable, and punctual
Ability to report and communicate any property damage or issues, injuries, accidents, or equipment damage/malfunction to your team lead, immediately
Ability to understand and comply with all company policies and procedures including safety, emergency, quality, and equipment care and maintenance
Ability to learn how to and safely operate basic lawn care, landscaping, and enhancement equipment
Positive attitude and ability to quickly learn basic lawn care, landscaping, and enhancement functions and techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual (English & Spanish)
Valid Driver's license with clean driving record
1+ year experience in a professional lawn care, landscaping or enhancement position
Basic knowledge of the lawn care, landscaping, or enhancement equipment and techniques
An interest in learning and growing your skill set to advance within the company

Physical Requirements:

Ability to partake in extended periods of physical activity including bending, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling & squatting
Must be able to walk 5+ miles per day while carrying lawn care equipment
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Must be able to work around bees, poisonous plants, pollen, and other environmental hazards
Must have full range of motion in upper body and be able to reach over ones head

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
