Job Title: Business System Analyst

Location: Remote

Duration: 06+ Months Contract

In this position you will utilize your technical area knowledge and expertise with relevant systems/applications, do define, evaluate, and validate requirements, business functional design, and technical design for highly complex and varied business issues within their domain areas with broader enterprise impacts. You will act as a liaison representing our department and the processes and workings within it to ensure the development and implementation of efficient technical solutions while minimizing operational impacts. Additionally, you can expect to work with the business, IT and relevant vendors.

What You'll Be Doing:
Technical Support/Business Expertise
Provide advanced technical knowledge to support proactive technical solutioning for complex and varied business issues, while considering broader impacts of technical decisions to the business environment.
Convert both complex and simple contact center business requirements into technical solutions
Analyze, scope, and develop solutions for a variety of contact center applications (primarily Genesys Cloud)
Coordinating with IT, other teams and vendors as needed to devise, test, and implement immediate and long-term remedies
Issue Resolution
Facilitate the resolution of larger, highly complex production system/application defects
Coordinate ongoing user support for more advanced service requests
Preform incident resolution through troubleshooting and applied technical knowledge
Participate in a "On Call" rotation supporting the applications and business user
Project/Program Support
Participate in discussions with the business and IT on projects and initiatives to elicit and document requirements and prepare appropriate functional specifications
Participate on large or complex corporate project team and initiatives including scheduling of projects and coordinating the SDLC process and artifact tracking

Business Testing
Serve as point of contact for business testing activities and influence testing strategy to ensure testing will appropriately meet the requirements
Develop, document and may, in some cases, execute test plans and scenarios

System Configuration
Coordinate the configuration and maintenance of more complex and critical system tables and data elements across multiple system environments
Analyze, develop, and implement complex configuration changes to improve performance

What You Bring:
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science with 5 years of direct application/systems analysis experience with applicable business system or application
If no degree, 7 years' experience as stated above.
This experience must include some of the following:
--- Direct experience resolving complex production system problems.
--- Direct experience with the development of contact center solutions
--- Direct experience with complex and critical system/application integration and configuration
Additional Experience:
Contact Center Telecommunications
Interactive Voice Response (IVR)
IP Networks and Connectivity
Desktop Computing - AD
Call Routing - SIP Telephony
Experience with Genesys Cloud/Genesys Pure Engage Cloud
Contact center support experience
Knowledge of Public Telephone switching and routing - SIP
If no Genesys experience, then prior experience with Avaya, Cisco, Nice or other Cloud based contract solutions
