The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a
Sr. Digital Developer (.NET) to support our National Center office
that is located in Dallas, TX. This role can be home based.
The Sr. Digital Developer (.NET) is responsible for crafting,
developing and modifying web applications and other integration
software to support the American Heart Association digital
fundraising assets across all businesses. Responsible for
collecting requirements, monitoring, dev testing, and remediating
defects throughout the development process and delivery to end
users.

Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain web applications and Web API by using
Microsoft technologies and other client languages (such as
JavaScript, jQuery, Dapper, etc.)
Develop software artifacts based on requirements, solution
architecture, application architecture, and development
standards.
Test developed software in unit and coordinated testing cycles.
Support user acceptance testing and defect remediation.
Handle incoming tickets and defects including preliminary
debugging, triaging, escalating and presenting back to customers on
status of the tickets.
Support the clarification and refinement of business
requirements.
Provide estimations based on requirements and functional specs.
Provide coordination, production, and project support.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Information Technology,
related certification or equivalent related work experience
Five years of experience in software development using Microsoft
.Net full-stack and related technologies
Five years of experience in web development technologies using
HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, XML or C# programming language
Five years of experience with REST Web API; ASP.NET MVC; ASP.NET
Entity Framework, .NET Core, EF Core
Three years of experience with ticketing systems; troubleshooting
web application defects, and debugging with in-browser tools
Three years of experience with Visual Studio Team Services
(VSTS)/Azure DevOps or similar project tracking tools
Two years of experience with SQL Server database development
including Transact-SQL and table design
Two years of Experience writing Stored Procedures
Customer service minded with superb communication skills
Solutions oriented with good problem-solving skills
Must be able to travel approx. 5% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Azure platform
Experience working with identity management solutions (SSO)
Sitecore CMS development and admin experience
Angular or another JavaScript framework experience
Understanding of Content Management Systems
Compensation & Benefits
The expected pay range will be $100,000 to $126,000. Pay is
commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay
range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right
to pay more or less than the posted range. The American Heart
