Seeking a (Gastroenterologist) Staff Physician to serve

full-time (Gastroenterologist) Staff Physician in
Salisbury, NC, to lead our compassionate healthcare team. Our
facility is equipped with advanced Olympus scopes for comprehensive
GI procedures, providing an excellent environment for professional
growth. Research collaboration opportunities are available through
Wake Forest Baptist Health, enhancing your impact on veteran
care. The Staff Gastroenterologist serves as acting section chief when
needed, provides supervision to trainees and nurse practitioners,
and participates in medical center committees. Delivers quality
care to adult and older adult patients in both inpatient and
outpatient settings and maintains clinical privileges. Collaborates
with interdisciplinary teams on patient care, leads or supports
continuous quality improvement, and stays current with advances in
the field. Supports the medical center s research mission and

who served. Benefits Salary Range: $350,000-$400,000 Sign on Bonus: Authorized EDRP: Education Debt Reduction Program
Authorized Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance
bonus, regular salary increases Work-Life Balance: Various flexible schedule
options are available. This includes standard 8 10-hour workdays
and compressed work schedules. Call Schedule: There is no call at
Kernersville. It is an HCC. Can take calls at Salisbury VA Medical
Center one day a week. Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of annual paid time
offer per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11
paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for

Forest Requirements U.S. Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be
appointed when it is impossible to recruit qualified citizens, in
accordance with VA Policy. Education: A Doctor of Medicine degree or an
equivalent degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine is
required. Licensure: Candidates must possess a current,
complete, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a state,
territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District
of Columbia. Residency: Completion of a residency program in
an accredited core specialty. Board Certification: Candidates must be board-certified or
