Average length of stay is 1.8-2.4 days in length. There is rapid patient turnover on the unit, daily. There is an ADT (Admission, Discharge, Transfer) nurse available on the unit Monday-Friday during peak patient transition times.SCHEDULING: Any absences have to be made up at the end of the contract and cannot be made up as an OT day. If nurse calls out on a weekend shift, they will have to automatically make another weekend shift up at the manager s discretion per the 2020 policy. Unit cannot promise a block schedule at any time. Looking for Telemetry nurses that can handle the patient acuity and the high ratio. All testing must be completed within 48 hours.
