Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards /n• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting /n• Report directly to the Nurse Manager/Director /n• Minimum 2 years current nursing experience required /n• 1 year of nursing experience minimum requirement /n• Required certifications: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina, Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC) /n• Education requirement: Nursing Diploma, ADN or ASN from accredited school of Nursing /n• Preferred education: BSN or MSN from accredited school of Nursing /n• Assess and care for patients with complex medical problems including physical, psychosocial, educational and safety aspects /n• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plans /n• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs /n• Participate in patient education and discharge planning /n• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for comprehensive patient care /n• Utilize healthcare organization standards, policies and procedures in care delivery /n• Participate in unit goals and performance improvement activities /n• English proficiency required for reading, writing, and speaking /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare system operates as a comprehensive medical center providing a wide range of clinical services and specialized care.
