Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based
occupational therapy opportunity is available in Fayetteville, NC,
supporting students across the Cumberland County School District
during the academic year from August 12, 2026, to May 27, 2027.
This travel position offers a structured caseload and a
collaborative work environment centered at a designated central
office location. Key Responsibilities: - Provide 15-20 hours of
direct occupational therapy services to students weekly. -
Administer evaluations, collect data, and complete report writing
and related documentation. - Manage a caseload determined by the
districts workload model to ensure balanced service delivery. -
Collaborate with educators and staff to support student
developmental and educational goals. - Maintain compliance with
state and district policies and procedures. Qualifications and
Experience: - Current and active North Carolina Occupational
Therapy license is required. - Experience working in school
settings preferred. - Ability to organize workload effectively
between direct therapy and administrative duties. - Comfortable
with travel assignments within the school district region. - Strong
communication and documentation skills. Location and Schedule: -
Assignment based in Fayetteville, NC. - Position operates Monday
through Friday with a total of 37.5 work hours per week (excluding
lunch breaks). - Therapists will work out of a designated central
office within the district. This role offers experience in a
supportive educational environment while providing essential
therapy services to students. Candidates must secure licensure by
