Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) position is available at a school located approximately 45 minutes north of Durham, NC. This contract role involves providing dedicated 1:1 nursing care to a 5th grade female student who requires specialized medical attention, including G-tube care, respiratory monitoring, and support for visual impairment. Responsibilities include: - Providing skilled nursing care tailored to the students medical needs - Monitoring respiratory status and managing G-tube feeding - Collaborating with educators and support staff to ensure the student's health and safety during school hours - Responding promptly to any changes in the students condition - Documentation of care and communication with family and healthcare providers as needed Desired qualifications: - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina - Experience in school nursing preferred - Competency with G-tube care and respiratory management - Ability to work effectively with non-verbal, visually impaired pediatric clients - Strong communication and organizational skills Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM This opportunity is ideal for a nurse with specialized pediatric skills looking to support a unique student in a school setting.
