qualifications will not be considered. Provide specialized nursing
care in oncology, applying professional standards and the nursing
process within a hospital setting. This contract role involves
collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient
care, educating patients and families, and contributing to quality
improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Deliver competent
clinical nursing care to oncology patients with complex needs.
Conduct thorough patient assessments considering physical,
psychosocial, educational, and safety factors. Develop, implement,
and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with
patients, families, and healthcare teams. Participate actively in
patient and family education, assessing readiness and adapting
communication appropriately. Engage in ongoing professional
development through identified learning needs and education
programs. Utilize healthcare policies and standards to ensure
high-quality, cost-effective care. Support discharge planning by
anticipating patient and family needs. Contribute to unit goals,
performance improvement, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Promote a safe, clean, and secure environment for patients and
staff. Qualifications & Desired Experience: Registered Nurse (RN)
license. Proven experience in medical-surgical oncology nursing.
Strong assessment, communication, and clinical decision-making
skills. Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
