MRI Tech Location: Kinston, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,866 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x9.5-Hour and Day 4x9.5-Hour Hours per Shift: 9.5 hours (07:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: ARRT MRI, ARRT CT Required Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: ARRT MRI and ARRT CT Certifications BLS Certification 1 year of experience EPIC experience preferred Charge experience preferred Description: This job requires working 7 days on and 7 days off. The work hours are from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The first day of the work week is Wednesday. The last day is the following Tuesday. The scheduled weekdays will involve working in MRI. On-call responsibility for MRI is required for one weekend per month from 6:00 PM to 7:30 AM. CT exams must be performed every other weekend from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM. The role entails performing a variety of exams and invasive procedures using computed tomography. Independent judgment and high-quality skill in computed tomography are essential. Collaboration with a Radiologist is necessary for setting up exams and performing procedures. In MRI, the candidate must demonstrate independent judgment and exceptional skills. Direct communication with the Radiologist regarding protocols is expected. The position significantly impacts achieving high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation. Staffing ratios are 1:2 during the day and on weekends. Candidates will be reviewed and interviewed by management. RTO must be included in submissions for consideration.
