Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Greensboro, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,991 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/10/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - EKG exam required for all RNs, regardless of specialty. Description: Registered Nurses are responsible for providing patient care in a general medical-surgical unit. The unit will primarily serve medical-surgical patients, with some telemetry capabilities. Travelers should be flexible with scheduling and understand the importance of punctuality and attendance. Candidates are expected to complete compliance requirements by the designated deadline. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Responsibilities include monitoring and managing patients with respiratory conditions, general medical-surgical diagnoses, and other needs such as palliative and hospice care. RNs will be involved in the care of psychiatric observation and diabetes management, as well as surgical patient observation. Charting is conducted using an electronic health record system. Experience with telemetry monitoring and managing various medical conditions is essential. Successful candidates will be required to have skills in managing IVs, administering medications, and providing wound care. Experience with hemodyalysis management and monitoring patients' vital signs is important. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Those selected for this role should be adaptable and willing to float as necessary across different units. Candidates should anticipate working weekends and holidays as needed. A strong understanding of care protocols and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is necessary.
