Job Description:

exceptional service, is seeking a PRN (pro re nata) Licensed
Practical Nurse (LPN) for a nursing home in Washington, North
Carolina. This position offers flexible scheduling and a dynamic
work environment, catering to professionals dedicated to providing
top-tier care and improving patient outcomes. The role involves
working directly with elderly patients, administering medications,
managing treatments, and collaborating with other healthcare
professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Administer nursing care
to ill, injured, or disabled patients within the nursing home.
Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior to RNs
and doctors. Communicate with patients and their families, offering
emotional and psychological support. Maintain accurate patient
records and report any discrepancies. Ensure the safety and
cleanliness of the environment in accordance to healthcare laws,
regulations, and policies. Carry out physician and RN written
orders. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to
work independently and as part of a team. Comprehensive knowledge
of healthcare and medical protocols. High level of detail
orientation and accuracy in administering medication. Efficient in
time management and the ability to handle emergency situations.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of North
Carolina. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
