Job Description:
seeking a Board Certified Pediatrician to provide locums
coverage. note call shifts begin at 0700 and end at 0700 the
following day, weekends are 0700 on Friday through Monday at
0700In-Pt callApril - April May 9th 0700May May May May May June
Hours/Dates: Jan 29- Feb 2Feb 5-Feb 9Feb 26- March 1March 4- March
8March 25- March 29DETAILS Outpatient (clinic & call) Avg of
patient/admissions per day: 20 in the office Avg of admissions/day
- one in the hospital Avg inpatient census 1 baby born per day
Call: 1 night per week; 1 weekend per month Call shared with:
pediatrician, NP and FM MD Will respond to codes? No- unless in the
nursery Required attendance at C-sections when requested by OB
provider No ICU/Critical Care duties No ER backup coverage required
EMR= EPIC Practice Includes: 6 exam rooms and onsite lab services.
1 MD, 1 FNP and 4 Nurses/MAs. Required Certification: BLS, PALS and
NRP Procedures: Onsite Lab, In House Circs, Ear irrigation, Minor
Suturing, Covid/Sick Clinic, POC testing for strep, Flu, and RSV,
Routine Well Child Exams and vaccines, Covid Vaccines ages 5-18
Hospital covers the cost of travel, lodging and malpractice
insurance.
