Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Orthopedic/Neuro Spine Med-Surg –
North Carolina Start Date: March 16, 2026 Location: North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule:
12-hour day shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week available; every other
weekend required; block scheduling options available
(Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday) Highlights:
Fast-paced orthopedic and neuro spine unit with post-surgical and
med-surg patient population 13-week assignment with 36-hour
orientation period Epic EMR system; previous Epic experience
strongly preferred Nurse-to-patient ratio of 5-6:1, occasionally
flexing to 7:1 in high-census situations Block scheduling available
for work-life balance Comprehensive interdisciplinary support
including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services,
pharmacy, and rapid response teams Requirements: Active RN license
(North Carolina or Compact state license required at start) Minimum
2 years of nursing experience with orthopedic experience required
BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required ACLS
certification preferred IV start and telemetry skills required Epic
EMR experience required; first-time travelers must have Epic
experience Charge nurse experience and Level I Trauma experience
preferred Must pass EKG testing prior to start date Willingness to
float to other medical-surgical units within the facility based on
census needs Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions
