Job Description Job Description Job Title: CT Technologist II Location: Hillsborough, NC Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent Schedule: Saturday, Sunday, Monday | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM Position Summary: A leading academic medical center in Hillsborough, NC is seeking an experienced CT Technologist II to join its Radiology team. The ideal candidate will perform advanced CT imaging procedures with a high degree of accuracy while ensuring patient safety, quality imaging standards, and compliance with regulatory guidelines. This position offers weekend-focused scheduling and eligibility for shift differentials, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance (if applicable). Responsibilities: Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures according to physician orders. Ensure accurate patient positioning and protocol selection. Administer contrast media safely and monitor patients during procedures. Maintain image quality and comply with department standards. Document procedures accurately in PACS and EMR systems. Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards. Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams. Maintain equipment functionality and report service issues. Required Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible . Registry-eligible candidates must provide a diploma from an accredited program. Advanced certification in CT required. Maintain registry status and annual continuing education requirements. Current Healthcare Provider (HCP) BLS certification required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a hospital or academic medical center setting. Strong knowledge of advanced CT protocols and contrast studies. Excellent communication and patient care skills.
