management Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse
for a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. The nurse will provide
specialized care for patients, including those with neurological
conditions. Candidates must have experience working with a variety
of patients experiencing multiple co-morbidities. The
nurse-to-patient ratio will be 1:5 to 1:6. Floating to different
facilities may be required. The role includes vital
responsibilities such as monitoring telemetry and interpreting
dysrhythmias. Feeding tube care and management is essential. The
nurse must be capable of starting and maintaining IVs. Isolation
precautions and wound care are part of the responsibilities.
Candidates are expected to be flexible with scheduling. Ability to
meet compliance requirements within the stipulated timeline is
necessary. All RNs must pass an EKG exam as part of the compliance
process. Candidates will be prepared for this exam with no study
materials provided. Daily census will average around 29 patients.
The environment will include interdisciplinary support services.
Wound care and management of various patient diagnoses will be
required. Prior experience in patient ratio management is essential
for successful performance in this position. Requirements Required
