Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Winston Salem, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,912 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years Experience License: Nursing License Required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, MOAB Must-Have: IV Start, Triage, Telemetry. Teamwork approach required. Ability to float between departments. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. Traveler experience required. Unit will accept 1st time travelers. Local candidates accepted with a rate difference. Ratios are 1:3-5 with approximately 250 visits per day and 101 beds. Unit will only accept contracts for 13 weeks. 36 hours can be offered. Weekend requirement is a minimum of 4 weekend days per 6-week time frame, possibly every other weekend. Floating between Emergency Observation Unit and Emergency Behavioral Health is required based on need. All candidates must pass EKG testing prior to start. Non-compliance with call-off policy will be strictly enforced. Candidates should complete modules and testing requirements prior to start. Candidates must be able to work 2 out of 3 major holidays. No RTO allowed during the first week of a traveler's assignment. Candidates must be comfortable floating between various units based on skill sets and census. Pending references are acceptable at the time of submission, but two manager/supervisor references from within the last 12 months are preferred at the time of start. Travel pairs are allowed but must be submitted for and work in different departments. The candidate must adhere to fatigue policies, not working more than 5 days in a row or over 60 hours in a week.
