Required Skills Medical degree from an accredited institution Board-eligible or board-certified in Emergency Medicine Valid medical license in the state of practice Proven experience in emergency medicine or urgent care settings Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR), specifically Meditech 6.1 or similar systems Must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS Nice to Have Skills Prior experience with ICU or critical care environments Advanced certifications such as ATLS, ACLS, or PALS Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations Preferred Education and Experience Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Active or near-active medical license in North Carolina Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine experience preferred; new graduates considered if appropriately credentialed Other Requirements Availability for the scheduled shifts starting on April 5, 2026, including overnight and day shifts Willingness to complete and maintain necessary certifications and credentials Must be able to work standard solo ER coverage during 12-hour shifts Housing provided in hospital-owned apartments Travel reimbursement capped at $500 per assignment This is your chance to be part of a supportive team, enjoy consistent weekly pay, and advance your emergency medicine career in a rewarding environment.
