The Department of Radiology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston Salem, NC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Interventional Radiologist to join our academic faculty. This is a 100% Interventional position. Our division has 5 ACGME accredited Integrated IR residency spots (1 per year), and expanding to 10 (2 per year), and Wake Forest prides itself on excellence in teaching and mentoring these future IR trainees. If your interests lie in research, our Clinical and Translation Science Institute (CTSI) will help facilitate involvement in national trials or help promote grant writing and funding applications. Responsibilities: Provide clinical expertise in a specialized focus area such as Vascular Malformations, Venous Interventions, Pain & Palliative Procedures or Sarcoma and Solid Tumor Interventions. Contribute to the full spectrum of interventional radiology practice including venous thromboembolic disease, portal venous interventions, trauma, biliary and urologic interventions, venous access, and dialysis interventions. Demonstrate a strong clinical work ethic as well as commitment to promoting the academic mission of the department. Collaborate with other departments and institutions on research and education initiatives. Qualifications: Board certification or eligibility in diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology required. Significant post-fellowship experience preferred. Strong clinical training and/or experience in all facets of interventional radiology practice required.
