Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Winston Salem, NC Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $1,780 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27103! Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Orthopedic/Med-Surg – North Carolina Start Date: February 2, 2026 Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour day shifts; 36 or 48 hours per week available; every other weekend required; block scheduling options available (Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday) Highlights: Fast-paced orthopedic and neuro spine unit specializing in post-surgical care and pain management Patient ratio typically 5-6:1, with maximum of 7:1 only in extreme situations Epic charting system utilized; prior Epic experience strongly preferred 13-week contract with flexible scheduling options including block scheduling Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams Opportunity to work with diverse patient population including orthopedic trauma, total joint replacement, and neuro spine post-surgical patients Requirements: Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license required at time of start) Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required Orthopedic nursing experience mandatory Epic EMR experience required for first-time travelers BLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required ACLS certification preferred Skills required: IV start/maintenance, telemetry monitoring, heparin protocols, spinal cord injury care, pain management Must pass EKG testing prior to start date Experience with patient ratios of 6-7:1 Willingness to float to other medical-surgical units as needed based on census Charge nurse and Level I trauma experience preferred Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic orthopedic and neuro spine environment where you'll make a direct impact on patient recovery through expert pain management and post-surgical care.
