Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days -

Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with
professional standards in a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit setting •
Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process
in a hospital environment • One year minimum nursing experience
required • Level 1 Trauma experience required • Assess and monitor
patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures •
Perform patient assessments including physical, psychosocial,
educational and safety needs • Develop and implement individualized
patient care plans • Perform bedside point of care testing as
required for patient care plans • Collaborate with
interdisciplinary healthcare team members • Educate patients and
families on post-operative care and discharge instructions •
Participate in quality improvement activities and professional
development • Maintain North Carolina Registered Nurse license •
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
required (AHA or ARC) • Nursing diploma, ADN, or ASN from
accredited school required; BSN or MSN preferred Facility: This
