Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive urgent care to adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up) in a fast-paced setting. Perform minor procedures such as I&D, lac repair, ear irrigation, and other minor interventions. Manage up to 40 patients per day using Epic EMR with modified training. Provide high-quality care independently, functioning as the sole provider during shifts. Collaborate with support staff including center managers, medical assistants, and supervising physicians. Demonstrate proficiency with Epic EMR and maintain up-to-date certifications. Required Skills: Minimum of 12 months of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner. Board certification (e.g., NCCPA, PA Cert) or Family NP Cert. Valid BLS certification. Proven ability to see and treat all patients independently with excellent soft skills. Proficiency with Epic EMR system. Ability to handle a patient load up to 40 per day. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with minor procedures (I&D, lac repairs, ear irrigations). Prior experience working in urgent care or emergency medicine settings. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. Preferred Education and Experience: Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with at least one year of urgent care or emergency medicine experience. Family Nurse Practitioner with relevant urgent care experience preferred. Current board certification and active licenses. Other Requirements: Full-time availability; must be flexible to support multiple centers within a 65-mile radius. Must complete EMR training and onboarding prior to solo shifts. Willingness to work at multiple locations, support off-site physicians, and adapt to varied schedules. No travel reimbursements; support includes mileage only.
