Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/20/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - OR /n/n Job Details: /n • Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in operating room setting /n• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital environment /n• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems including physical, psychosocial, educational and safety aspects /n• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plan /n• Organize and prioritize care according to patient/family needs /n• Participate in patient assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care /n• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care /n• Assess and anticipate discharge needs of individual patients and families /n• Utilize healthcare organization standards, policies and procedures in delivery of care /n• Participate in promoting cost-effective care and performance improvement activities /n• Minimum one year of nursing experience required /n• Trauma Level 1 experience required /n• North Carolina RN license required /n• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC) required /n• Nursing diploma, ADN, or ASN from accredited school required /n• BSN or MSN from accredited school preferred /n/n Facility: /n This major academic medical center serves as a comprehensive healthcare system providing advanced medical care and specialized services.
