Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n Ultrasound Tech - Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Techno /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts /n• Assist radiologist in performing invasive diagnostic techniques specialized to maternal fetal ultrasound processes /n• Provide standardization and training to residents regarding maternal-fetal examinations /n• Perform essential maternal-fetal ultrasound examinations including detailed anatomical evaluation, complete fetal echocardiogram, growth assessment, and fetal wellbeing assessments /n• Conduct ultrasonic diagnostic procedures and record anatomical, pathological and physiological data for physician interpretation /n• Perform biophysical profiles, maternal/fetal Doppler, amniotic fluid assessments, and needle procedure guidance /n• Execute examinations of maternal pelvic anatomy including transvaginal cervical assessment /n• Utilize advanced diagnostic 3D/4D techniques /n• Analyze sonography findings throughout examinations to ensure comprehensive data collection /n• Image structures while simultaneously obtaining Doppler signals and recordings /n• Provide preliminary information regarding diagnostic evaluation of maternal-fetal scans to radiologist and referring OB providers /n• Three years of experience performing complex OB/GYN or vascular scans required /n• Completion of 12-month Diagnostic Medical Sonography/General Ultrasound program or equivalent certificate required /n• Required certifications: BLS for Healthcare Provider, ARDMS registration in OB and OB GYN /n• Preferred certification: Fetal Echocardiography (FE) /n• Must be able to recognize situations requiring direct radiologist observation of real-time scans /n/n Facility: /n This specialized medical center focuses on maternal-fetal medicine, providing advanced diagnostic imaging services for high-risk pregnancies and complex obstetric cases.
