Description UNC Family Medicine at Hillsborough is hiring a Physician! Located in the heart of Hillsborough, UNC Family Medicine at Hillsborough is a full service family practice, treating both children and adults. Our care team provides compassionate and personalized care. Services : •EKG and pulmonary-function testing •Concussion management •Diabetes education •Healthy lifestyle education •HIV PrEP •Immunizations •Joint and soft-tissue injections •Management of acute and chronic diseases such as hypertention and diabetes •Medication Therapy for Opiod Use Disorder •Nutrition counseling •Physicals •Preventative care •Screening tests •Sports medicine including nonsurgical orthopedic procedures •Well-child visits •Women's health Practice Hours : Monday - Friday8:00am - 5:00pm Qualifications: • Medical School Graduate (MD/DO) • Board certified family medicine required • NC State License preferred • FCVS profile preferred for those without NC license but not required UNC Health Medical Group (UNCHMG) includes primary care physicians, as well as physicians in a wide range of specialties and sub-specialties. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine. Licensure/Certification Requirements: None required. DEA;ACLS;MD Professional Experience Requirements: Prefer prior hospitalist experience. Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English. REASONING ABILITY High-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in Internal Medicine.
