Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 01/05/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with Siemens MRI experience preferred and current ARRT registration or eligibility. Responsibilities - Work in an acute care hospital MRI department - Schedule consists of 3x12 hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday, 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM - Uses Siemens MRI scanners, PACS, laser printers, and EMR systems including Epic - Handles both adult and pediatric patient populations - Temp-to-perm opportunity with local candidates reviewed first - Responsibilities include patient identification, safety screening, obtaining patient history, and supporting patients and families requiring extra attention - Perform and interpret MRI scans, administer oral and IV contrast following established protocols, and ensure proper documentation of all procedures - Maintain competency with PACS systems, complete image transmission and order management accurately, and ensure all demographic and billing information is correct - Collaborate with colleagues in protocol selection, equipment troubleshooting, and quality assurance - Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment, and precept new staff and students as needed - Background check and drug screen must be completed through a designated vendor within required timeframes Requirements - Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science - Current ARRT registration or registry eligible with diploma required if eligible - Advanced certification in MR required within one year of employment - Current BLS for Healthcare Providers (HCP BLS) required - Experience with Siemens MRI scanners is preferred - License required if applicable Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-640297.
