Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 12/01/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: CT Technologist - CT Technologist Job Details: • Conduct procedures and tests using Computerized Tomography (CT) equipment to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data • Must have previous Siemens experience • Looking for local candidates only • Perform patient identification verification using professional manners and methods • Obtain patient history and assist patients and family members requiring extra attention • Verify patient identification and document pregnancy status for patients of childbearing age • Obtain CT images per protocols and manipulate images according to established protocols • Perform multi-planar and 3D reconstruction of image data • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of CT algorithms and select appropriate window and level settings • Administer oral contrast to adult and pediatric patients according to protocols • Establish intravenous lines and administer IV contrast following safe injection procedures • Maintain thorough understanding of PACS and transmit images to QC, EMR, EPIC and PACS • Complete, modify and cancel orders in appropriate and timely manner • Run schedule creating consistent workflow and volunteer for challenging tasks and new research • Review patient charts and reports for correlation • Maintain clean and orderly work environment • Precept new employees and students • Required: Completion of accredited educational program in Radiological Science • Required: Registration with American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible • Required: Advanced certification in CT • Required: Current competency in HCP BLS • Must become registered within one year of employment and maintain registry status Facility: This healthcare organization is a leading academic medical center providing comprehensive patient care services with state-of-the-art imaging technology.
