Responsibilities Work in an advanced MRI imaging department using Siemens MRI scanners Serve adult and pediatric patients in a hospital setting Shift is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 3x12 hour days from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM Temp-to-perm opportunity with preference for local candidates Involves operating MRI scanners, administering MRI contrast, and utilizing EPIC EMR and PACS systems Verify patient identification and obtain patient history with professional manners Competent in operation of MRI scanners, cross-sectional anatomy, and MRI contrast procedures Responsible for accurate order completion, image transmission to PACS and EMR, and maintaining patient demographic and billing information Establish and monitor IV lines for contrast administration according to protocol May be asked to precept new employees and students Maintain clean and orderly work environment while volunteering for challenging tasks and quality improvement Drug screening must be completed within 24 hours of commitment and background check clearance is required prior to start Start dates may be adjusted if required documentation or screening is delayed Requirements Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science ARRT registration or registry eligibility Advanced MR certification required within one year of employment Current BLS for Healthcare Providers (HCP BLS) required Must maintain registry status and continuing education annually Prior education, training, and experience that provide the ability to perform the assigned tasks License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-640297.
