Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse Provide high-level care to critically ill patients in the ICU. Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and respond promptly to changes. Administer medications, IV therapies, and specialized treatments. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and families regarding conditions, procedures, and recovery plans. Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with hospital standards. Respond promptly and competently to emergency situations and life-threatening changes in patient condition. Requirements of the Travel Nurse Valid North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license.
