Summary:Collects and processes blood specimens for testing in the
laboratory.
Reports to: Director of Laboratory -Responsibilities of the
Position:Labels, processes, and delivers specimens for
testing.Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate
techniques.Maintains equipment and medical supplies.Assists with
coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing
and screening donors.Other tasks and duties as assigned.Minimum
Education:High school diploma or equivalent is required.Completion
of a Phlebotomy program is required.
-Certifications/Licenses:Phlebotomy certification is required.Basic
Life Support (BLS) is required through American Heart Association
(AHA) within 30 days of hire. -Required SkillsCritical thinking
skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal
