Duke Nursing Highlights:
Work Performed Plan and provide profess ional nursing care for
patients in accordancewith physician orders and e stablished
policies and procedures to includecollecting and analyzing pa tient
data, developing and implementingnursing care plans, establishing
interpersonal relationships withpatients, evaluating nursing care
given andcommunicating to properpersonnel relevant facts about
patients, actio ntaken and patientresponses.Assist other nursing
personnel in the delive ry of nursing care and actas team leader or
charge nurse for a group of patients or an entire unitas

Minimum Qualifications
Education Work requires graduation from an accredited BSN program.
Exception: Registered nurses hired between July 1, 2014 and April
11, 2021 without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) are
encouraged to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years
of their start date but must complete the program within five years
of their start date. Registered nurses hired before July 1, 2014
are not required to enroll in a BSN program to remain in this job
classification.
Experience Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience is
required. At a manager's discretion, employees with 6 months of
experience who are exceptional performers may be eligible for this
level.
Degrees, Licensures, Certifications Must have current or compact RN
licensure in the state of North Carolina. BLS required.
