Job Description:

Short Memorial Hospital is located at 317 Western Blvd, Jacksonville NC 28546. A community hospital that has joint commission and AHA Primary Stroke Center Certification. Our ED treat patients with anything from the common cold to cardiac arrest.

Complete Memorial ED- 39 Bed ED, sees about 170-200 pts/day. Must float to all areas of the ED.
Triage
POD 1&2 Nurse ratio 1:4-5, tech ratio 1:12- hardwire monitors all rooms. Critical patients
Pod 4 Behavior Health nurse ratio1:7 with 2 pt safety monitors- Medically cleared pts waiting on placement. No testing or cardiac monitoring.
POD 5 No cardiac monitor, general ED complaints. May close at 1am depending on census.
Urgent Care- Level 4&5--Sick call, physician visit type patients. Swing times open 11a-1a. May change as needed.
Labs and resp. tx are done by ED staff.
