Institute, Davis Ambulatory Surgical Center, Duke Ambulatory
Surgery Center Arringdon, Health Services Center, and Duke
Behavioral Health Center North Durham. In fiscal year 2021, Duke
Regional Hospital admitted 16,422 patients, performed 18,152
surgeries and welcomed 2,673 babies into the world.

General Description of the Job Class
Perform a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance
of CT scans.
Duties and Responsibilities of this Level
Required Qualifications at this Level
Education
Completion of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology plus
completion of an accredited CT program
OR Graduate of a bachelor's degree program in Radiology, with two
semesters of clinical rotation in CT
OR Completion of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
with two years of DUHS Radiology experience
Experience
Level I
Must obtain ARRT certification within one year of employment.
Level II
Minimum of two years' experience as a CT technologist.
Level III
A minimum of 4 years' experience within specialty modality in which
they are seeking promotion
Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification
ARRT certification in Radiography
CT certification within 12 months of employment
BLS certification
