Call required, approx 12 days of call, including 2 weekends. Occ
SummaryIndependently plan and provide professional nu rsing care
for patientsin accordance with physician orders and establish
edpolicies andprocedures. Provide nursing services to patients and
famil ies inaccordance with the scope ofthe RN asdefinedby the
North Carolina Board of Nursing. Work Performed Plan, provide,
super vise and document professional nursing careutilizing the
nursing process for patients in accordance with physicianorders and
established policies and procedures. Use professional
nursingjudgment to individualize thepl an of care based on
assessment of thepatient's baseline needs and respon se to
care.Delegate tasks and supervise the activities of other licensed
andunlicensed care providers.Assist other nursing personnel in the
deli very of nursing care and actas team leader or charge nurse for
a groupof patients or an entire unitas assigned.Monitor and
initiate corrective a ction to maintain the environment ofcare
including equipment and material resources.Participate in own
professional development by maintaining r equiredcompetencies,

Qualifications EducationWork requires graduation from an accredited
BSN program. Exception: Registered nurses hired between July 1,
2014 and April 11, 2021 without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or
higher) are expected to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within
two years of their start date but must complete the program within
five years of their start date. Registered nurses hired before July
1, 2014 are not required to enroll in a BSN program to remain in
this job classification. Experience Twelve months of appropriate
clinical experience is required. At a manager's discretion,
employees with 6 months of experience who are exceptional
performers may be eligible for this level. Degrees, Licensures,
Certifications Must have currentor compact RN licensure in the
