Job Description:
The UNC Department of OB-GYN is seeking a Board Certified/Board
Eligible Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Specialist
interested in a career in academic medicine. This is a full-time,
open rank, clinical faculty position. The appointment rank and
track will be commensurate with the chosen candidate's experience
and qualifications. The candidate will have the opportunity, if
qualified, to serve as Medical Director upon assuming the position.
A candidate serving as medical director would oversee a significant
ART program, with about 500 oocyte retrievals last year, and would
receive additional compensation commensurate with the additional
responsibility. The UNC Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and
Infertility consists of 6 physicians, 2 advanced practitioners, 6
nurse clinicians, and 3 fellows in training. The individual hired
for this position will have major responsibility for the
comprehensive care of patients for the range of patients seen at
UNC Fertility, LLC, in Raleigh, NC. This position will share night
and weekend call with 3 other providers. UNC offers excellent

in 10 different divisions and more than 50 residents and fellows.
The department is widely recognized for its innovative clinical
care, robust research portfolio, and outstanding residency and
fellowship training programs. DO, MD, or MD PhD degree with
completion of a 4-year ACGME residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology
and an ACGME approved 3-year fellowship in Reproductive
Endocrinology and Infertility are required. Board Certified/Board
Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in Reproductive
Endocrinology and Infertility are required. Excellent
qualifications and letters of recommendation are required. Salary
will be commensurate with experience. The University of North
