Position Description:

Defines resource requirements and sets the mission enabling the squad to execute specific deliverables. Manages service activities or client relationships by defining customer standards and service level agreements. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of organizational/technology structure -- guiding principles and operating models -- using industry and competitor benchmarks.

Primary Responsibilities:

Partners with leaders across the enterprise to influence broad strategic decisions and technology roadmaps.

Supports the evolution of enterprise performance measurement offerings for investors.

Ensures alignment on work performed through ongoing planning and prioritization.

Maintains and develops technical expertise and knowledge.

Assesses and determines project prioritization.

Participates in strategic planning.

Provides accountability for the financial management/budgeting process.

Sets vision, goals, and direction of team/organization.

Plans and leads organization-wide initiatives.

Provides leadership and expertise to multiple teams in broad technical areas on complex organization-wide projects.

Conducts business case analyses and readiness assessments for different types of technologies.

Initiates and manages vendor relationships and establishes requirements for negotiations.

Advises senior management on technical strategy.

Reviews, analyzes, and formulates project plans for multiple concurrent projects or programs.

Examines enterprise business applications from workflow to end user tasks.

Develops and reviews work plans for a software applications or systems.

Assigns and reviews the work of systems analysts, programmers, and other computer-related workers.

Reviews project plans to plan and coordinate project activities.

Prepares or reviews operational and project progress reports.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a closely related field and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or six (6) years of experience defining solutions for large customer-facing online transaction processing financial applications using Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) framework or distributed technologies. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a closely related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or four (4) years of experience defining solutions for large customer-facing online transaction processing financial applications using Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) framework or distributed technologies.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (DE) delivering high impact customer facing, high availability, online software products and services, using Agile@Scale configuration and distributed technologies or performance measurement methodologies and calculations.

DE developing product roadmaps and release plans for enterprise-wide technology initiatives of $1+ million -- developing milestones and schedules -- according to Agile methodologies; and defining Information Technology (IT) product and program vision and objectives, and leading IT program increment planning and prioritization events.

DE designing and performing business process and systems analysis of end-to-end architectures; project managing the design, development, and systems integration of Big Data frameworks running on Hadoop, Oracle, and Snowflake, using Hive, Impala, Sqoop, Spark, and Scala; project managing the design, development, and systems integration of responsive and progressive Web applications, using JSP, HTML, CSS/SASS, JQuery, Backbone, Angular, and NodeJS; and project managing the design, development, and systems integration of cloud-based platform and Web application solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS) EMR services -- according to security models standards.

DE performing functional decomposition of product vision and application functionality into features and capabilities of Web-based transaction applications, using JIRA, JIRA-ALIGN, Flow Metrics, Agility Health, Workforce Connect, and ServiceNow.
