An ADP Client, Data Decisions Group is actively seeking for a Marketing Research Project Manager to join their team in Chapel Hill, NC.About the Role:This position is based in our corporate office in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This is a full-time position, well-suited to those with experience in marketing research project management, client management and/or revenue responsibility, research analytics, and interdepartmental coordination.At DDG, we combine best-in-class marketing research with robust data science and predictive modeling. Although the Marketing Research Project Manager will work primarily on the marketing research component of the business, there will be frequent opportunities to explore and assist with the data science side as well.If you're a fast learner, willing to work hard, enjoy learning new skills (particularly data science or data engineering skills), experiencing how marketing research and data science are applied in a commercial environment, and providing valuable insights to help drive our clients' businesses, then this is the position for you. You should have a demonstrated track record of quantitative marketing research project management.Position Functions:* In terms of an overview of the position, you'll be responsible for the management of marketing research studies from the project launch through delivery of the final report. This function involves ongoing collaboration with the sponsoring client. You'll either design the questionnaire yourself, or coordinate DDG's internal resources to do so. You'll manage the fieldwork, coordinate with different DDG departments and outside suppliers. You will be responsible for keeping the project to the specified budget, and on schedule. You'll produce the final report of will coordinate with our internal resources to produce it.* You'll be an active participant in the quality control process for many survey functions. For example, you should be able to test and validate questionnaire logic, confirm that surveys are programmed correctly, and review data and/or research report deliverables for errors. You will assure that the findings in the report accurately reflect what the data represents. You'll also assure that the final report completely addresses the main intent of the research as defined in the proposal or SOW.* In addition to traditional marketing research projects, you will manage data science projects, some of which will include a marketing research component, and some will not. You will be responsible for working directly with the client on the specifications, managing the internal steps required to deliver mailing lists, model development, and model scoring. As with our marketing research projects, you will be responsible for the schedule, the budget, and the relationship with the client.* You must be very organized. You should be able to handle multiple projects, usually in different stages of the process, all at the same time.* Some of the software tools we use are SQL, IBM/SPSS, R, Tableau, the full suite of Microsoft Office products, and others. We also use proprietary modeling software, which you will be trained to use. Experience with these-especially the statistical applications-is a plus.Position Requirements:* 3 - 5 years of experience in marketing research project management* Experience with and responsibility for client interactions, preferably including revenue and budget responsibility* Bachelor's degree required* This role is required to be 100% onsiteWhat we Offer:* Competitive salary, commensurate with experience* Full benefits#indfull
