Job Description As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the operation of manual and CNC Machining Centers to produce parts to customer specifications within the automotive and aerospace industries. This role requires precision and attention to detail to ensure the highest quality standards are met. Responsibilities Operate manual and CNC Machining Centers to produce parts according to customer specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and customer specifications accurately. Visually inspect parts and materials during the production process for quality assurance. Utilize calipers, micrometers, height stands, and indicators to verify dimensions. Essential Skills Proficiency with CNC lathe and CNC machine operations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience with measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers. Mechanical aptitude and manual machining skills. 2 years of CNC machining experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in operating CNC Lathe machines is preferred. Manual machining experience is a plus. Experience in the automotive or aerospace industry is a plus. Knowledge or experience with CNC 5-axis machines is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a larger facility with multiple buildings, where conditions can be non-climate controlled and occasionally dirty. You'll have the opportunity to work with both manual and automated machinery. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danville, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
