Condition Monitoring Analytics Engineer Location: US (Hybrid)
Travel Requirement: Up to 10% (domestic/international) About

Our Electrical Condition Monitoring System (eCMS) platform
leverages state-of-the-art DAQ hardware, cloud analytics, and
machine learning to identify electrical anomalies, reliability
concerns and provides detailed insights about the health of the
generators across wind turbine, hydro generators, gas engines and
critical thermal power plant systems. Position Overview The
Electrical Condition Monitoring Systems Engineer will play a key
role in interpreting, validating, and improving analytics derived
from WindESCo’s eCMS DAQ systems deployed in the field. This
position bridges advanced data analytics with practical engineering
insight to identify generator anomalies, fine-tune algorithms,
support continuous system improvements, and deliver actionable
insights to customers. Key Responsibilities Review and interpret
electrical condition monitoring data collected from the eCMS DAQ
systems. Analyze generator data from wind turbines, hydro
generators, gas engines, and thermal power plants to detect
operational anomalies and emerging faults. Validate and refine
analytics output, utilizing engineering judgment to confirm or
dismiss anomaly detections. Collaborate with software and data
analytics teams to fine-tune detection algorithms, signal
processing routines, and configuration parameters to improve
accuracy. Prepare concise technical reports summarizing findings,
anomalies, and corrective recommendations for customers. Work
closely with the hardware engineering team to improve DAQ module
reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Lead or contribute
to continuous improvement initiatives enhancing system performance,
hardware reliability, and analysis workflow. Participate in root
cause analysis of field issues and feedback loop for product
enhancements. Support deployment and commissioning of new eCMS
field installations when required (up to 10% travel).
Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical
Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline. 5–7 years of
experience in generator condition monitoring, electrical
diagnostics, or rotating machine analysis. Proven experience
analyzing data from wind turbines, hydro generators, gas engines,
or thermal power plants. Strong understanding of signal processing,
electrical fault detection, and generator protection principles.
Proficiency in Python for data handling, scripting, and analytics
validation. Experience with AWS-based data platforms, IoT
pipelines, or cloud analytics environments. Hands-on familiarity
with data acquisition hardware, sensors, and industrial
communication protocols. Excellent technical writing and
presentation skills for creating customer-facing reports. Strong
collaboration and problem-solving skills across multidisciplinary
teams. Preferred Skills Experience with machine learning or
AI-based diagnostics. Understanding of vibration analysis or other
condition-based monitoring techniques. Knowledge of SCADA systems,
edge data processing, or IIoT architectures. Prior involvement in
