Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. This contract position focuses on supporting students in grades K-5, with the potential for various openings across K-12 and an Extended School Year (ESY) option. Location: - Fayetteville, NC Key Responsibilities: - Conduct speech and language assessments for students in grades K-5 - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting communication goals - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress - Monitor and document student outcomes and adjust strategies as needed - Participate in team meetings and provide consultation as required Desired Qualifications and Experience: - Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist - Experience working with elementary-age children (K-5) in school settings - Strong understanding of speech and language development and disorders - Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students and collaborate with staff Compensation and Benefits: - Hourly rate ranging from $36.52 to $50.62, based on experience and qualifications - Contract position offering the potential for both regular school year and ESY assignments - Opportunities for professional growth within diverse K-12 environments This role provides a chance to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills within an educational environment.
