Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

experienced educator focused on special education across various
grade levels, including early childhood, elementary, middle, and
high school settings. This contract role in Durham, NC, offers the

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized
educational plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needs.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators,
therapists, and families to support student development. Utilize

learning styles and abilities. Monitor and document student
progress, adjusting instructional approaches as necessary. Maintain
a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
Participate in professional development to stay current with
special education best practices. Qualifications: Valid teaching
certification with a focus in Special Education. Experience
teaching across multiple grade levels such as early childhood,
elementary, middle, and high school. Strong understanding of
special education laws, individualized education programs (IEPs),
and evidence-based instructional techniques. Ability to manage
diverse classroom environments and adapt lessons to student needs.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with
