Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
school psychologist position is available in the Research Triangle
area, serving multiple elementary and middle schools within the
Durham Public Schools district. This contract role, lasting through
June 10, 2026, offers a valuable opportunity to work with diverse
student populations across several campuses including Forest View
Elementary, Mangum Elementary, Lyons Farm Elementary, Rogers-Herr
Middle School, Southern School of Energy and Sustainability, and
specialized settings like the Preschool Assessment Team. Key
Responsibilities: Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments
to guide student support strategies Participate in Individualized
Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with educators and
families Support the development and implementation of intervention
plans based on students needs Utilize knowledge of Multi-Tiered
System of Supports (MTSS) for assessment and intervention
(preferred) Support maternity leave coverage at elementary schools
starting in March as needed Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Psych licensure with Department of Education credentials
(DOE required; DOH not accepted) Experience with school-aged
children, preferably in elementary or middle school settings
Ability to complete background check and fingerprinting within
seven days of application Bilingual Spanish proficiency is a strong
asset but not required Open to both experienced professionals and
new graduates demonstrating a commitment to school psychology
Location: Chapel Hill, NC, and surrounding campuses within the
Durham Public Schools district This role demands a minimum 37 hours
per week schedule and a prompt availability to start. Candidates
will undergo a prescreen interview process, with flexible timing
options offered between 911 a.m. and 23 p.m. EST. If you hold
