Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
School Psychologist role is available within the Durham, NC area,
supporting multiple elementary and middle school sites, as well as
preschool assessment services. This contract position runs until
June 10, 2026, with the option to start as soon as possible. The
role is perfect for candidates interested in working within a
dynamic school district setting serving children across early
childhood to middle school age groups. Responsibilities include
conducting psychological evaluations, participating in
Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and collaborating
with multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with the Multi-Tiered
System of Supports (MTSS) utilized by the district is highly
advantageous but not required. This position also involves working
closely with students, parents, and educators to support
school-based mental health and learning needs. Key qualifications
and desired experience: Active School Psychologist licensure with
the Department of Education (DOE) Experience with psychological
evaluations and IEP processes preferred Bilingual Spanish skills
are a strong plus, though not mandatory Must complete a background
check and fingerprinting within seven days of application Open to
new graduates as well as seasoned professionals Work sites include
Southern School of Energy and Sustainability, Rogers-Herr Middle
School, Forest View Elementary, Mangum Elementary, Lyons Farm
Elementary, and a dedicated preschool assessment team. A maternity
leave coverage opportunity beginning in March will cover Parkwood
